If you do click on a link and use the services or even have some comments to make then please contact the people at the relevant web site and let them know so they at least know that someone has gained some value from their efforts. Mangrove Diving

Mangroves are the unsung heroes of the ocean and a diver's best friend. They are biodiversity hotspots and nurseries where up to three-quarters of all tropical fish species are born; ensuring plentiful life at dive sites around the world.

Milne Bay is known for its many World War II wrecks, some of which can be explored by diving and snorkelling. The mangrove system attracts dolphins to the area and the reefs are colourful and diverse, with deep walls and coral gardens. It is a great destination for muck diving, especially at Dinah's Beach - where this type of diving is thought to have begun amidst the black sand slopes.

It was the first loss for the Royal Australian Navy and the first allied submarine lost in World War I.

Betel Nut Export

The proposal by National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop to export betel nuts to Saudi Arabia is an idea that should be studied and developed. For Parkop, redirecting betel nuts to the Middle East achieves for him one selfish end; the more that can be sent away the less that can arrive in Port Moresby where the capital city has turned a disgusting red from the spit of betel nut chewers.

Also known as areca nut, betel nut is used in the Pacific, Southeast and South Asia, and parts of east Africa. Labelled as Asia's deadly secret, betel nut is consumed by a 10th of the world and is said to give people a buzz on par with six cups of coffee.

IPOPNG

The Intellectual Property Office of Papua New Guinea has recently unveiled a series of improvements to their -- http://giaman.com/s/ipopng website, a move which will assist brand owners interested in protecting their rights in Papua New Guinea ("PNG").

The IPOPNG website now provides access to a searchable electronic database of PNG trademarks which is hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). Trade mark owners can now conduct direct availability searches prior to filing to help identify potentially conflicting registrations. It is unclear how often the IPOPNG database will be updated, but there is currently a delay of ~3 months for new trademarks being published online, which suggests that some care should be taken when reviewing search results.
